STEEL MAGNOLIA — Monte De Oro’s 1st Summer Concert – Saturday, June 9th
Steel Magnolia — Their bracing take of “Keep On Lovin’ You” broke through as the highest charting debut single by a co-ed duo in Billboard history and climbed all the way to No. 5 on the Billboard Country Charts. The song has been downloaded more than a million times and landed in the major motion picture, “Valentine’s Day.” Josh and Meghan spent the summer of 2010 touring alongside Brad Paisley on his massively popular H20 Tour. They also toured with Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton and appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Lopez Tonight.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy– Saturday, July 28th
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a contemporary swing band from Southern California. Their notable singles include “Go Daddy-O” and “You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three Tonight”. The band went from a regular Wednesday night gig at the Derby in Hollywood, playing for a few hundred people, to playing the Super Bowl XXXIII half-time show in 1999.
The band was originally formed in 1989 by leader Scott Morris. He and Kurt Sodergren are the two “original” members, with the rest of the band joining later on. The band concentrated on the swing of the 1940s and ’50s, playing clubs and lounges in their early years.

Romantics/Missing Persons– Saturday, August 4th
2011 brought the re-emergence of original bass player, vocalist, Rich Cole. With his addition, the band is able to expand their set list and include more songs from their first two albums, as well as new and unreleased material. They are now able to focus in more on harmonies and getting back to their original rock sound that established The Romantics from the very beginning.
Currently, Palmar, Skill, Cole, and Elvis are touring and writing songs. In the works for 2012, are new releases and some surprise unreleased, live recordings.
