Fre­quently Asked Questions

Is there a facil­ity fee? No, but we do have a Food & Bev­er­age minimum.

Is there an extra cer­e­mony fee? Yes, the cer­e­mony fee is $1,250.  Please see our  Pack­ages & Loca­tions page for more infor­ma­tion on what is included.

Is a dance floor included? Not at this time, but our staff will assist you with the rentals where needed.

What kind of chairs do you pro­vide at the cer­e­mony and recep­tion? White fold­ing chairs with upgrade pack­ages avail­able upon request.

What is the Bar­rel Room?

Is a deposit required to reserve my event date? Yes, $1,000 of your total con­tract or 10% (whichever is greater) to reserve your wed­ding date.

 How much time do I have for my event? A total of five hours is included in your pack­age; addi­tional time is avail­able and varies case by case

How late can my recep­tion go? Per River­side County ordi­nances, out­door events must con­clude by 10 pm.  Please con­tact our Events Depart­ment regard­ing indoor events.

Can I taste the food to deter­mine my menu? Yes, once you have made your menu selec­tions, you will have a pri­vate food tast­ing with tMonte De Oro’s exec­u­tive chef.

Is hard alco­hol avail­able at my event? Unfor­tu­nately no, although we do offer a full selec­tion of award win­ning Monte De Oro wine, along with imported and domes­tic beer.

Can we serve other wine besides Monte De Oro wine?  Yes, Monte De Oro is proud of our award win­ning wine selec­tion. When you reserve your wed­ding date, you are invited to a com­pli­men­tary wine tasting.

Can I have a cash bar? Yes, we can assist you with var­i­ous bar options.

Is cham­pagne avail­able?  Yes, we will pro­vide you with a selec­tion to choose from.

Will I need to pro­vide a PA sys­tem for my cer­e­mony? Yes, your DJ will typ­i­cally have pack­ages avail­able that include this equipment.

Can I have a live band? Yes, a live band is a lovely addi­tion to your spe­cial day.

Do I need a wed­ding coor­di­na­tor? Our expe­ri­enced staff will assist you in menu selec­tions, room design and ven­dor refer­rals. How­ever, we rec­om­mend hir­ing a pro­fes­sional wed­ding coor­di­na­tor to assist you in coor­di­nat­ing your wed­ding day time­line, musi­cians, offi­ci­ate, pho­tog­ra­pher, and spe­cialty vendors.

Do you have a place for me to get ready on my wed­ding day? Yes, we will have a bridal room avail­able for you to pre­pare for your cer­e­mony or freshen up before your reception.

Can I take engage­ment pho­tos at the win­ery? Yes, once you reserve your wed­ding date we invite you to use our facil­ity and grounds to cap­ture your spe­cial moments with our breath­tak­ing views.

Can I have chil­dren or minors at my cer­e­mony and recep­tion?  Of course! We just ask that they be super­vised at all times.

Are pets allowed to par­tic­i­pate in our cer­e­mony? We are pet friendly and wel­come your furry friends in our out­door cer­e­mony and recep­tion locations.
