The Tast­ing Room

Enjoy­ing the deli­cious vari­eties of Monte De Oro wines in our spec­tac­u­lar Tast­ing Room – the crown of the Monte De Oro Win­ery – is a one-of-a-kind expe­ri­ence. 
 
Our 2,450 sq. ft. Main Tast­ing Room has an ambiance that is sophis­ti­cated and ele­gant, but at the same time relax­ing and com­fort­able. A warm, invit­ing atmos­phere ele­vates every­one – from the wine novice to the expe­ri­enced oenol­o­gist – even before glasses have been filled. Whether it be the view of our Bar­rel Cel­lar from above, through the glass-floored tast­ing room, or the 180 degree panoramic view of Temec­ula Wine Coun­try from our Out­side Patio Monte De Oro and it’s Tast­ing Room pro­vide the per­fect place to sit, sip and enjoy South­ern California’s Pre­mier Wines.

Tours at Monte De Oro

In addi­tion to pro­duc­ing some of Temec­ula Valley’s pre­mier wines, Monte De Oro also is known as a leader in the Val­ley as far as their wine mak­ing tech­niques. For $16 you can take a tour and see for your­self. You’ll learn about grape grow­ing and har­vest­ing; how Monte De Oro’s numer­ous vari­etals cul­ti­vated dur­ing the year via our ver­ti­cal trel­lis sys­tem and how Monte De Oro’s processes are designed to be eco-friendly. You might even dis­cover the secret behind the aging of our qual­ity red wines.

Bar­rel Room tour, Tour of the grounds, wine mak­ing edu­ca­tion,  
 
Bar­rel tast­ing, tra­di­tional tast­ing (glass is not included)

Pri­vate Tast­ing Expe­ri­ence - 60 Minute Tra­di­tional Tast­ing in a pri­vate set­ting, 6 Tastes, Imported & Domes­tic Cheese Plate. 
Reser­va­tion Required - $25.00 per per­son, 10 per­son min­i­mum (glass is not included).
