Monte De Oro - 2010 Synergy 65 Rose

2010 Synergy65 Rose

Monte De Oro’s 2010 Synergy 65 Rose´ was made in a Saignee (son-yay) style — a method of Rose´ wine production that involves bleeding off wine juice after limited contact with the grape skins in the fermentation tank. Our Rose´ does not go though Malolactic fermentation so it retains a fresh crispness and was allowed to ferment to dryness as a composite blend.

Monte De Oro’s Synergy 65 Rose´ was fermented and aged in 100% stainless steel at cool (about 50º F) temperatures. Typical time the juice was on grape skins period to bleeding off the wine was 48–72 hours – just enough to add color to the juice.
